Biography of James Bullard
President - Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis

Dr. Bullard took office on April 1, 2008, as the twelfth chief executive of the Eighth District Federal Reserve Bank, at St. Louis. Prior to becoming president, Dr. Bullard was vice president and deputy director of research for monetary analysis at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. He joined the Bank in 1990 as an economicst in the Research Division. Dr. Bullard's research has appeared in numerous professional journals, including the "Journal of Monetary Economics: Journal of Money, Credit, and Banking: Journal of Economic Growth; and Journal of Economic Theory".
