Biography of Larry Cox
President and CEO of Memphis-Shelby Airport Authority

Larry D. Cox, President and CEO of the Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority since 1985, has received many accolades for management excellence, including 1994 Airport Manager of the Year for the Southern Region of the FAA, the Kitty Hawk Award from the FAA in 1996 and Distinguished Service Award from the American Association of Airport Executives in 2001. He is currently President of the Tennessee Association of Air Carrier Airports. Larry has lived in Memphis since 1953 and earned a BBA and MBA from the University of Memphis.
