Biography of John Felmy John Felmy is Chief Economist of the American Petroleum institute. He is responsible for overseeing
economic, statistical and policy analysis of the Institute. He has over twenty-five years experience
in energy, economic and environmental analysis. He received Bachelors and Masters in Economics
from The Pennsylvania State university and Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Maryland.
John is a member of several professional associations including the American Economics Association
and the International Association for Energy Economics.
